[ There is a knock on the door at the usual time. When he opens the door, it's John in his usual, with a dvd under his arm as well as something that was knit and then felted with what appears to be a very simple rainbow pattern. He made Aylin a cat donut bed]
The colours draw Astarion's eye immediately, even as he steps back to let John inside.
"...come in. What is that?"
"It's for Aylin," he says as he steps in, pulling out the DVD and shaking out the little donut tunnel thing. The rainbow is a series of stripes across the whole of the circle, very very plain. He hadn't wanted to meddle with anyone's brain with a self-made pattern, after all. Best to err on the side of caution.
