Astarion responds by innocently sidling up just behind him and goosing him.

"Or something."

He jumps, absolutely not expecting that.

"What the fuck?" he laughs and just slings an arm around his shoulders to try and playfully yank him to the side.

Astarion laughs and lets himself stumble, throwing an arm around Jacob in turn.

"Oh, would you prefer to be wooed instead, pet? I might have to stop by the library if you want poetry."

"You don't have anything lined up just for me? What the hell?"

He lets him go, but stays close. "You could just throw me in the snow and kiss me again."

"Could I, now? I'm not entirely sure I'm strong enough for that."

But he will absolutely pull him into a kiss while still standing - and only then hook an ankle to try pulling him off balance while he's distracted.

Jacob is quick and strong, but Astarion has a hold on him that makes him lose all sense of the world around him.

So he's easily toppled, letting out a cry as he falls back into the snow.

Astarion grins in a way that shows his fangs, straddling Jacob in the snow and leaning over him.

"I can't take you anywhere, can I?"

"You can take me anywhere you want to," he laughs, gripping his shirt and pulling him into a kiss.

`Astarion chuckles and kisses him, immediately deep and passionate, his body sprawling down over Jacob's. His hands drift over his body, tracing out his arms and shoulders, stroking through his hair.

He responds immediately to the kiss, the touch, flushing warm despite the surrounding snow and ice. He closes his eyes, one arm around him, pressing close to feel his weight.

"Mmm-"

He writhes against him, sensuous, greedy for sensation. This is easy, straightforward, familiar. A moment of escape and a definite source of pleasure.

Jacob pushes him back just once he starts to feel a bit dizzy from it.

"Ah, some of us have to breathe, you know," he murmurs, though he's certainly not going far. "You wanna finish this somewhere else?"

Astarion smiles and sits up on his knees.

"Oh, if you insist, darling."

He picks himself up easily, dusting a little snow from his clothes. There's a bit of a pink flush across his cheekbones and to the points of his ears, but whether that's from the cold or something else is anyone's guess.

Jacob brushes the snow from Astarion's coat, using it as an excuse to place a gentle kiss on his cheek. "Good. My place or yours?"

"Yours," he decides, and kisses him again before turning to head away to where they started.

He follows after, back up the ridge and through the trail, shedding his Enclosure-made coat once they get closer to the door. He holds it open for him, but looks back once more, committing the place to memory again.

"You staying a while?" he wonders idly, always trying to adjust his expectations when it comes to their - excursions.

Astarion sheds his own coat - it would be odd to just feel it vanish when he crosses the threshold - and smiles crookedly at Jacob as he passes him.

"That really depends on how long you can keep me occupied, doesn't it?"

He snorts, leading him back down the hallway, but pauses before the stairwell. He slides an arm around his waist, turning to mutter low and quiet into his ear, trying not to grin.

"Please? I'll do any goddamn thing you want."

Astarion shivers.

"You can't start begging without telling me what you're asking for, darling - we're already going to end the evening in your bed, no need for concern there."

He laughs. "Yeah? Maybe I just like to make you look like that."

But Jacob pulls away, content to lead them down, barring any other interruptions.

Astarion, too, is happy to get the rest of the way there briskly. Not to think about the idea that Jacob was saying please to have him stay longer, to keep him.

He pulls the man into a kiss the moment his cabin door is closed, toeing off his shoes as he wraps his arms around his waist.

Jacob barely has time to get his own boots off before he's being kiss, before he's back against the wall, before he's got his arms around him in turn.

He protests playfully, letting his fingers tangle in those silver waves.

Astarion presses greedily against him, nipping at his bottom lip as he reaches for his buttons.

"I want you to fuck me," he murmurs, looking up for eye contact as he says the words.

Jacob realizes he was just about to ask, and let's his eyes with a grin.

Mae's in her crate, the light isn't even on yet, so Jacob walks him blindly back to the bed, pressing kisses to his throat and jaw.

Astarion isn't blind in the dark. He moves with perfect confidence, unsurprised when their bodies encounter the edge of the bed; he simply slides back and pulls Jacob forward, cool hands stripping off his shirt and running over his chest. As if he's trying to recommit it all to memory, the warmth of him, the firm shape of muscle and the texture of his skin.
