Quite alright, nothing you could have done. Poor timing on my part, really. If I'd been alive I could have helped people. I do appreciate the thought, regardless.
You're not wrong. Not that our previous Admiral was my favourite, nor his vessel my ideal location, but this one strikes me as a bubbling pot just waiting to boil over. Whatever restraints they put on my magic have been removed. That means they may have been for other people, as well. People who might be less conservative than I am when it comes to throwing fireballs.

no subject

Thank the gods he was here, then. I know our original vessel ended up in quite the predicament. I was afraid that you might have been...
[ ... You know. Trapped. ]
no subject

Many things. The 'Captain' is all but absent and the ship has no purpose. I thought the Barge could be aimless and chaotic, but this is...absurd.

I suspect none of us have been limited. Which is, as you say, for the best. You may need to defend yourself.
[And if some terrible accident befalls the Dark Urge, well, that could have been anybody's fireball!]

You as well.
...Sleeping arrangements are...haphazard. It may be better if we stick together and arrange watches.
